I think I almost got to the end of the starter zone last night (didn't get on til after shameless)

Once you crank up the graphics engine it looks very nice.
The soul trees offer alot of customisation so has a lot of potential.

Really enjoyed the hour an a bit i did play and I am looking forward to doing a rift event.

Definately worth a purchase.

Eep, server queues.

It's rather entertaining watching the chat.. seems instead of people discussing the game, every 5 mins someone starts a WoW>X or other WoW reference and more join in to slate or praise their chosen favourite.

Another 282 to go...

I did play loved it, it's a bit like WAR but no where near as bad, i ended up rolling a cleric, do enjoy priests especially as I can do healing and offensive, picked a random pvp server which was german lol, all in all happy to play on release and see where it goes.. got to lvl 10 not tried pvp yet but will tonight :)

I didn't get on for long, got to 11 and managed to find the npc that allows you to join battlegrounds but had to do some running about to deliver some quests so didn't join one. Hopefully get in and loose some lightning on some goons tonight.

Got a lot of rift seal rewards now, seem to be socket/enchant type buffs to your gear. Good little system, because then small efforts in battles don't get upgrade items but you can turn your green belt into a blue one with these it seems.. really like that.

got to nearly 15 played plenty of pvp, not sure it's balance as a cleric it's way too easy to die, but then again the enemies were all around 18-19 so that could be why, we shall see....

defo going to play on release.

Seems almost neccesary.. well a lot bloody easier to have some self heals or damage absorb if you aren't a tank type character. Altered my build to be Chloromancer / Stormcaller and works well enough rifting and in BGs. I like the fact my heals are on cooldown, forces you to turn your brain on.

I can fully recommend going straight to Battlegrounds at 10 as there's a quest for a blue weapon after you win 5 (i'm assuming its same for both factions)

16 now oh and got a lovely message saying the betas running till early am saturday. Think it was 10am PST, makes that about 4pm for us?

yes the beta has been extended, it's been announced on the forums, which is nice tonight after poker I shall have a play until the early hours then jump on tommorow :)

Is it as good as DAOC for pvp ? I used to love taking keeps and defending the hell out of em

Heard they are planning more to do with RVR too which is great. Thats what I missed about DAoC.

got upto 18 with my cleric, enjoying it pvp needs a bit of balancing but all in all good fun, my main gripe is with the gfx engine, this pc is a brand new dell i5 mumble yet even on super duper low, the gfx effects when your in a fight just cause stuttering big time, which in pvp is not helpful, have read that they are currently looking in this..

So looking forward to the next beta and have it on pre order, if we have enough people maybe we can sort something out, my time is so limited now the last thing i want to do is play an mmg solo...

Not had any issues with gfx at all myself and mine is only an 8800gt so old by todays standards. The latest gfx drivers seemed to double the fps I was getting as I got notification of a new driver when I went to log in 1st time this beta.

Next beta starts 4th and looking forward to getting my Cleric to 30 to test the build out. Currently Cabalist/Inquisitor/Purifier works very well. My 30 Marksman/Ranger/Assassin is good too but had that build idea since beta 1 so leaving anymore testing until live game :)

druid/justicar/sentinal at the mo seems pretty nice, but i may well give your spec a whirl see how it pans out..

also I am playing on win 7 x64 still laggy as you like, wondering if it's the os.. either way i hope they do sort it out otherwise pvp is going to be painful same as rifts.

just to let people know they been slow in sending out he beta 6 emails, but if you pre-ordered, log in and check your account as i haven't got a email yet but my account shows i am in the beta
