Nah, game runs and only get kicked out about once every hour or so, which from what I hear generally is pretty stable for Hellgate, it's running DX9 and not the (what I still see as little difference in the game) DX10 as the options screen does work in the single player game without a problem

dunnow what is your computers problem. i've had about 3 crashes ever. all of which were solved my turning up my fans. It's pretty cpu / memoryintensive and that increased heat was casuing problems. Luckily i remember the same problem from playing CoH and can fix ti accordingly.

alternatively i coudl login to the shithole of HG:L forums and piss and moan liek a whinky little faggot.

I have just learnt to change the things I can not give a monkeys about those I can't, just vent them on occasions to make room for more.

Others in CUK were saying they had crash problems when I said about it, doesn't really bother me though, as I said before it reminds me to keep an eye on how long I've been playing. I do though know heat isn't the problem, at least according to the head readouts I've looked at, my PC never gets that hot, as soon as it does it goes into some noise making mode and cools itself down.

I might though dump the memory I have and get some new better stuff, that's the weakest link, well that and the video card but I'm not gonna touch that, only might touch the memory cos been offered a deal via work

I lock up about once every one - two hours, the laptop gets very hot, I assumed it was a heat thing. Bloody thing is meant to be a gaming device.

I can't even get my login accepted for the HG:L forums to have a look.

I love the rubberbanding back to your original spawn spot when you are modding an item a few mins after and losing everything...brilliant stuff that :D

Don't worry, a lot of people have been crashing/locking on a regular basis.

I turned all my graphics settings down a notch and haven't crashed since (touch wood!)

Having said that, earlier today I started getting registry errors and HGL wouldn't start at all. Cleaned up the registry and re-installed HGL and all seems OK again now.

*sigh*, I hope they fix all this crap soon it's getting to me :(

What kind of bollocks is that then, you can't use your EU account forums unless you sign on to the US accounts????

I did try my US beta account, but it didn't work, I'll try again tonight.

Still think it's a shite way to organise a web site.
