Cluster,

I've got a nova/orb sorc (level 80 odd) and her mana was a bit of a problem as I maxed nova as soon as I could. Best belt I reckon would be Gloom's Trap or Lenymo. I put a few levels in glacial spike as a left-clicky skill and snowclash helped with that but personally I wouldn't bother. Lenymo is pretty easy to find and I think there's still one on a mule.

Get a four socketed armour and bung perfect skulls in them. Socket your helm with one or more too. You can get rid of them later once the mana use isn't such a problem.

Good luck

Oops...................... You said boots! Not belt. Hee hee. Oh well, I'll leave the text in. Silkweave is quite nice - its what I use.

I need food. Brain dead.......

A most impressive kit.

Mind you, you realise of course that peasant crowns make your character look like a plonker, unless you're an assassin :)

I would suggest a +2/+3 skills circlet, or a 3-skulled socketed helm to feed your mana habit!

Have fun though - it's a great build to play, especially as you have to get in close for nova to be effective not like those cowardly hydra and firewall types!

Sounds way too complicated to me, I think I'll stick to my bo, shout, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww, ww.

Lather, rinse, and repeat.

Cull - nice idea with the teleport mate. Trouble is I've always been crap with it. With my first soreresses I would switch to teleport then forget and then target it right smack in a middle of a mob of monsters, thinking instead that I'm using something like hydra. Grinning wickedly at the anticipated devestation I then teleport in, right at their feet, panic for a while (this usually involves a lot of swearing, running around and frantic left clicking at the bad guys, .....thereby teleporting me back into the fray) before finally being turned into sushi.

So... I have an unnatural aversion to teleport. On hardcore this mistake only needs to happen once. Still, I think that this is more a reflection on me being a plonker, not on your strategy!

Cheers

What!!? Mice have two buttons?!!

:p

Nah, I keep the left button constantly on another elemental type attack (normally glacial spike) so that if I get spooked by ltng immune beasties I can still usually get away even if panicking and clicking everything in sight - the fact that the wheel on my mouse is clickable doesn't help either!

Remember all that nice kit?
I managed to get corpsepopped on the cow level and lost it all, there was an item free for all leaving me only with lidless :(

I was very pished off, and had to spend the rest of the day buying it all back, cost me about 7 sojs so im totally broke now, dont even have any to use, so its back to mf runs for me :(
Ive learnt my lesson, if u die, cut your losses and leg-it. Only ever been corpsepopped once before when doing magic find runs. Fortunatly there was noone else around to nick my items so i got them all back in the end that time :)
