Well after a few squishy moments at the hands of the big fella I took every potion I could think of (Shield of Faith, Bears Endurance, Bulls Str, Barkskin, Cats Grace etc) equipped by shield and Adamantine Rapier and hit uncanny dodge and tumbled around the fool whilst chipping away at him.
Finally he fell.
Bit gutted about the -60% XP because of the squishy moments but hey ho, success
