Story update?

Eh, sorry for being ignorant, but I've seemed to forgotten what we're exactly looking for in these caves... Or what we're exactly doing. Would you Zed mind writing a short story of why we're exactly here?

Of course, I could read through all the threads, but they're a little difficult and time-consuming to go through, and I somehow bet that I'm not the only one who's got only some confusing idea what's actually going on. Too much else on my mind lately, that's why...

just saw this apologies kaer.

Basically a previously thought extint dark elf type thing appeared in the city of Ptolus. You kill it :) then because of the fame you got for that 2 groups approached you with seperate tasks:

1. a female mage with a glass arm - wanted you to find out how this creature escaped from a place known as the banewarrens. From what information you were provided this place started off as a prison for VERY EVIL beings and items. However the creator turned evil as he was completing it. but it was supposed to be magically sealed in a way nothing could get in or out

2. A cleric approached you and asked to help find their paladin champion Kalarecent. He couldnt tell you where he was but he could say through scrying that the black elf had something to do with the paladins disappearance.

You followed a map provided to you by Jevvica (the female mage) which lead you to an abandoned house. Inside you where attacked by an orc and tracks led you to the cellar where you found a clawed out hole. Following this you ran straight west for 1/2 mile or more before coming to this little area to the north of the tunnel. The tunnel itself continues westwards....

The northern area was inhabited by two umberhulks. it safe to assume they made the tunnel.... but why?
