Thats right, the new syndicate remake is going to be a FPS game, who'd of guessed it!

I loved Syndicate. Loved it. It's still one of my favouritest games of all time. The American Revolt thingy wasn't great, but this looks even worse . . . but I'll buy it and play it. Because it's Syndicate, and it had me right there . . .

Love Syndicate and am still playing the original on my droid. Loved Syndicate Wars - purchased on the same day as Tool's �nima album (win, win, imho). I'll reserve judgement on this until after they've ruined a classic, probably turning it into some form of cheap Deus Ex cash-in. Think the comment below nabbed from the above link says it all:

And yes, I'm not sure if I'm more annoyed at this or X-Com, seriously, its simple sodding business studies, theres only so much demand for the same shite over and over. Why do they insist on remaking old games that kids today wont even of heard of.

Meh I guess bad publicity is still publicity, can't wait for the A-Train FPS next.

Dunno, but he probably isn't at EA. I know most of Bullfrog left not long after the EA take-over. Alot followed good old Peter Molyneux (or however its spelt), and went to Lionhead.
