Well I found only one of you intelligible last night.
Everyone else was just sharp honking noises!!

Apparently I was breaking up at your end.

Don't know if the server was struggling last night.

In the end I had my TS client process set to High Priority (Settings | Options | Other) and Voice Activation set to Whisper (Settings | Sound Input/Output)

I suspect we were clipping badly too.
I have moved my output volume down from MAX to Normal now.
(Settings | Sound Input/Output)

Those both sound almost perfect your end. Our end it was really bad. sounded like the voice activation was pulsing on and off continuously even when you wern't talking. When you were talking it was still doing it too so we could only make out every other sylable.

the server was apaprently being difficult last night, though i found it hard to tella s my new dsl was causing some trouble. i'll restart it.

Well it WOULD sound good at my end! Just the way the TS client records. I guess it records me before any compression.

Normally it's not so bad. Taz sounds to me pretty perfect. We always know roughly what Coalman is watching on TV too

I imagine I get codecced a bit as people normally hear me, but not had the major dropout problem you mention before yesterday.

Something was amiss in the ether somewhere.

I did notice a few screetches in the text window from other groups.
I just put it down to a difficult night.

I thought I'd explain my confused communication though.
