Noobie panic

Just bought this, along with a friend from sch....er, work. We're looking for ppl to play with and I figured that CUK would have a Guild. Who do I talk to about getting into games etc? we got a big following for GW?

Edit: I'm just reading through the tips and FAQs, roster and stuff now. I think most of my questions will be answered there so ingor the blind panic aspect. Still, question remains, what's the roster like? Have the ppl who normally join then leave left or are we still strong in number?

Post your full char name on the roster thread & someone'll log on and invite you. No need to be online yourself at the time. Just go to Guild window (G) and accept the invite.

Tip: make a char with your forum name & post that name (even if you don't play him) -- means your guild name will be recognisable. The player belongs to the guild, not the character.

Numbers go up and down (have always been small), but we recently got a guild hall bought, so things are looking up. Means we can challenge other guilds in pvp.

Alo's also playing in a different guild. Not aware of any other CUK playing outside our guild.

You probably already realised that it's one server - so no need to worry about which server to go on.

As Byzah said if you create a character called Agro (even if you immediately create another to play with) by 7PM I'll auto-invite you.

If you pop confirmation of your and your pals character names (we only need the first created) in the roster thread we can be sure you are invited.

Numbers of regular players are quite small. 4-5 maybe. Anyone who hasn't played for a month probably won't again any time soon.

Quite a few have dabbled and then decided to go back to WoW.

CUK really isn't remarkable with a small guild. We have a Sigil with which to buy a Guild Hall, but haven't decided on which one yet. We're a way from having a PvP team when the choice becomes important.

Playing GW in CUK isn't a blood pact, so you are quite free to join other friends' guilds later if you want.

There should be a handfull of us on from 7PM tonight. If you have finished the training area we can help you out after that.

Indeed I am. Mainly because it's a few RL mates who get together regular like on a thursday and play as a group. However, we have just "completed" the story.

And last thursday was a bit "meh" as all we ended up doing was doing a bit of elite capturing.

I was hoping that now the four of us have "done" the pve bit, we would get stuck into the pvp side, but it turns out the guys arn't that interested, well the two main ones anyways.

Mate from work that is our 4th, is a bit peeved as he was hoping we would get round to doing "stuff" also ...

If enough cuk'ers can arrange to be online this thursday, what do you guys think about a "friendly" gvg match? I have no idea how it all works, it would only be against the 4 of us, and we arn't "haxxor dudes" so it could be a good time to try out "stuff" ?

Thats assuming I can twist the arm of the GM of the guild to actually use the sigil he's been sitting on for the last few weeks

could be amusing, aye. erm... would i be able to use a pvp char for it? cause theres no way my char will be 20 by then

Oh I'd be in for some PvP.
I think we can mix PvP and PvE chars for this, and make up the difference with henchmen.

Well that's the tricky bit. But what is a sigil for if not your own arena?

If it goes well, and we can decide on a convenient night, who knows we could swap guilds on certain nights for PvP. Have a PvE and a PvP night.
