Cheers again Aggy and Corwin for helping a damsel with wet pants! My jaw hit the ground when I saw the second part of the last boss!
The first bit of the second act is really chaotic and having three folk doing the headless and dead chicken dance possibly wasn't the best way to start it but I still appreciated Corwin and Pandora Come Die With Me :)
Look forward to the next sesh!

just nailed him and now i know what you mean. solo'd as a Witch doctor. tough took me 5 attempts to get a skills balance that did it for me.

Yeah I had died a few times, swapped skills/equipment and had decided to gain some exp when Tsong appeared in the game. He kindly came and died with me once before calling on Aggy :)

Level obviously helps but I'd say it's down to skills and stats.

I'd been stacking Int up to act 4 but was having more and more close shaves so switched to Stamina. Corwin had 800 HP when I helped him whilst I had over 4.5k HP and Belial was hitting me for 500 a shot.

Witch Doctors seem to get more healing abilities than Wizards which also helps.

Diablo killed me the first time I tried him as I was set up for AoE. Switched to more single target and healing abilities and he was easy.

I'd guess you have more Stamina as a Barb and they have built in 30% damage reduction.

I would echo this. I survived the act 2 boss slideshow experience (thanks for the fps check bliz) due to having a very defensive/hp oriented build both stat and skill wise. A bit of mobility didn't go amiss either.

For those who haven't yet, you may want to turn on advanced tooltips to get more of a feel for what things actually do, the itemization and skill progression have a lot of depth that I'm finding quite easy to miss in the excitement of 'issa purdy new game'. Nothing wrong with that, until you're chewing floor.

I'm finding that a new skill or rune isn't always an improvement on a lesser skill or rune. Find something that you like/works and stick with it.

3 attempts on Belial so far, took me a while to realise that I could still repair durability in Caldeum as the Tavern stays open doh. Realised that I'm gioing to have to drop Nova and Frost armour for this fight and not sure he is fooled at any way by my mirror images at all.
I'll try a couple more times with a respec, but I may need to call on the big guns.
