The Expanse

I started reading the Expanse series of books when Syfy announced they were cancelling the TV show after 3 series, then Amazon picked up the series but I carried on reading the books anyway. I'm waiting for the final book, number 9, and I've really enjoyed the series.

Book 1 seems to be quite different to season 1 of the TV show.

I'm assuming they've mixed some storylines from later books into season 1? Or does book 1 expand beyond Miller and Holden as it goes?

I don't dislike the changes, just curious if it syncs up more later, with the elements it could

Yeah they mix it up a bit at the start to make better tv viewing, all the main story elements are pretty much the same though.
