The Secret World - who is who

Afre Eaddi offered up some help in the Secret World it dawned on me that I've no idea who is who.

On generating my character, I'd no idea how important "Nickname" was and thought it was, well, just a nickname.

*sighs*

Went for Hashashiyyin an a nickname for my character, based on playing a character modelled on a tabletop Clan Assamite "World of Darkness" character I played for years.

Big mistake. Didn't realise names are never used and nickname is used for everything. Ho hum!


Anyways, who is who?

I know Zed plays Zedanya but I've no-one else in ClanUK as friends within the game.

Aye Zedanya here. Oft found running around with said Hashashiyyin. (or hashish as i call him, its easier to remember)

I'm Artanix in there, but my new job means I'm away 4 days of the week, so I'm really not getting much time to play this

My main's called Eaddi (although i haven't actually progressed him past getting to Kingsmouth) and the toon I've now got running around the Shadowy Forest is called Mikki.

I went with Qwell as a nickname as thats the name of my Paladin toon from WoW but wish i had gone with Qpid now since you only really need one toon to encompass all builds, so starting an Illuminati Alt called Qpid...

Qwell is Templar Tank main build who's just started running Elite dungeons if anyone else is out there at that stage?

Looking at your build bud what triggers iron maiden? do any of your actives or passives set afflicted onto you target?

The linch skill is Blood sport (fist passive) which sets afflicted. from their I can trigger penetration at will with Clear the path, and do all kinds of other things. Where im weak at the moment is healing, and relatively speaking i want to look at passives that trigger HoT's on penetration (oo er) and potentially move from AR to blood once i get my Priest deck done.

Looking at a couple of builds Third Degree was the plan I believe. Must go and take that out before I play tonight.

Just started doing "The Filth Amendment" in Blue Mountains without reading the rating (turns out it is devastating to me) and dropped in to find everything in there could kill me with a mild passing of wind.

Got invited to a group to make a trio and actually managed to grab aggro which was "fun" The other two were much more advanced than my little guy.

We wiped eventually at the tentacle stage but I did pick up a QL10 item which will be of use.

Scary stuff though when you mis-time it and everything wants you for lunch
