What's everyone playing at the moment / looking forward to play soon?

There don't seem to be many good games out atm so I'm trawling back through old games like Warcraft 3, BF 1942, but I want something new

Am waiting for C&C Generals (hopefully will be good), Championship Manager 4... and ultimately Star Wars Galaxies.

Is there anything out there I should be playing?

Im playing AOM loads at the mo, also playing BF1942 waiting for the expansion for that. Also waiting for General's and SWG. GBH has just told me Amazon say's the BF1942 expansion is due on the 7th of Feb much Wootage and shooting of gun's.

Zelda, Metroid, F-Zero, Res Evil 0 and Ikaruga on Gamecube.

Not much on PC, the market has been ****e for ages now. I guess Doom 3 and Deus Ex 2 look good, and SWG. I'll spend far too much time playing Champ Manager 4 and KotoR looks great but the PC market is just one big pile of disappointment.

Battlefield expansion mostly... tempted to give SimCity 4 a go too.

Unreal 2 is gonna be bum imo. Maybe a month or two of playing it will be a laff, but it will be eclipsed by Doom3

You cant compare Unreal 2 and Doom 3 in the same sentance! there both completely different games.
Doom 3s a horror thriller game were your on your own
Unreal 2s a shooter with squad combat and character interaction

lets see... U2 - tactical, squad type combat. with missions. and a proper storyline. and well cool weapons (spider gun!!). D3- horror type thingy, hardy any details yet, essentially copying doom 1s storyline aparently (did D1 have a storyline?!).
Oh, and U2- developed entirely for single player, so good SP. but with MP code in there in the background for coders to easily use.

Deus Ex 2 yes, that looks damn good. Thief 3... i was never too keen on the thief games tbh.
