Does that mean you'd need gamespy to play anything other than a local network game ? Every time I've tried to use gamespy it's given me nothing but grief, and I'm in no rush to inflict gamespy on my PC again. Glad someone said that though, I hadn't noticed it before.

I found it a little to clunky tbh, its pretty and all, but despite its age, Diablo 2 is still by far a more fluid and intuitive gaming experience imo.

Personally I found the demo quite interesting. Not to mention I'm surprised that it actually somehow worked on my pc. All settings on 'low' though. ;)

I think it will only come into its own when folks start discovering interesting class builds. Looking forward to mods also.

it was fun enough for me to preorder, but god knows how long it'll actually last me. the interface seemed a bit clunky compared to diablo i/ii, which is odd considering it doesnt do anything more particularly :p also, it seemed a bit unresponsive at times, but i guess i was trying to do too many things at once or something.

I did the trial, thought the interface was a bit naff so I hope they've changed that. Not going to buy it though, don't really have time to play it.

well, mine shipped last night. so i guess it'll arrive this morning or tomorrow. will let you know how it is :) i'm quite looking forwards to it though, will be a nice break from wow.

Anyone know if the characters from the demo can be used - not that bothered but have some nice stuff collected on them (I'm such a horder of stuff ) :)

Official strat guide is out in the States, if you are a stat freak. Got mine yesterday and had only ordered it 36 hours before. No tax on books. It isn't out in the UK for a month or two.

edit : that link is correct but not always working for some reason. If you dont get to the book, it gets you to their site, then just search for Titan Quest.


Nice for the class and skills infoz, but you have to be careful not to check out the spoilerz. Did see a small amount of infoz on later areas and mobs and it is very interesting.

It also has a small section on the world builder, which looks absolutely fantastic. You can design items, equipment and monsters, not just use them from a pallet (sp?).

think mine arrived this morning (saw the postlady had what looked like a play.com package when we drove past her), but wont be able to play it much till the weekend most likely.
