ou head down the stairway for 20ft until you reach another level. Looking around you see a huge iron vat, pocked with patches of rust, stands next to the eastern wall. It is 10 feet high, at least 8 feet in diameter, and has iron rungs on one side to allow someone toclimb to the top. Around it are stacks of iron buckets. The dark southeast corner of the room begins to emit a terrible droning sound, and suddenly two horrible humanoid figures composed of tiny insects and worms come forward like thick, black swarms given the shape and form of men.

Did they come out of the iron vat, or just around that area ?

As for what to do, dee will try hurling his stick at one of the swarms if only just to see what happens. he'll also say "Did someone have some alchemists fire ?"

Nethertheless, Risach moves slowly towards the evil (?) creatures, blocking their aproach to the squishier party members.

Thak roars STAND BACK!!! and tosses a pot of alchemists fire towards the insect creatures. After the flames have died down he will rush the creatures if still alive swinging Gutter with all his might.

Assuming they are not the talkative type, Aceed draws his weapons and advances. (no point in hiding in the shadows I'm guessing.)

If I have a torch I'll light it and use it as a weapon, otherwise I guess I'll just use std weapons.
