Turn 8 - Talking to Leroy

The confusion turns to panic as people quickly leave the scene. However, as you linger about the pall bearers and the widow, it is evident that Frederik should not have been up and about at all.

Richard returns a few moments later and joins you. He tells you of the arrangement for a meeting with Leroy later tonight at a small speakeasy about 4 blocks from here. The meeting would be taking place around 10pm.

The other watcher has long gone, and those of you who give chase loose it quickly in the crowd and are left with no other option but to return to the scene of madness.

The Speakeasy is a sleazy place, another bar where alcohol is served in flagrant ignorance of the prohibition. You are greeted by a fact behind a steel grate at te back of a hairdressers and asked for your credentials. Leroy it seemed had already arrived and you were all expected.

Leroy sits waiting for you nursing an empty glass. Its obvious to you all that to get anything from him you are going to have to ply him with liquor. Once you do he becomes more amenable to questions and forthcoming with answers...

Luther enters the place instantly feeling more at home and promptly proffers two bottles of whiskey from the bartender, deciding to let the others do the talking he decides to do some drinking and begins by filling Leroys glass and saying:

"A good shot of whiskey should help you out there, but damn, that guy shoulda been dead, dont you think Leroy?" At this Luther sits opposite him his open palm indicating that the others should also help themselves to.....
