how would people feel about voice comms of some sort? either teamspeak or ventrillo?
from what i've played, GW seems quite a fast paced game, where fast communications wouild be a big help...

I have teamspeak client installed already.

So, sure. If anyones got the bandwidth to set up a ClanUK GW TS server, that could work. But someone will need rights to be able to set up seperate rooms for each party group.

I bought a headset and downloaded the Teamspeak client about a month ago.
I had a bit of bother getting Windoze to recognise the other on-board sound card tho despite enabling it in BIOS.

It wasn't a major priority at the time though. I could persevere with it next week.

For any kind of competitive PvP I reckon it's kind of essential, and can't hurt in the harder PvE either.

Somewhere, that's bloody helpful of you mate.

*sigh*

We're going to need the ability to have a couple of channels once we get two or three high level groups going....dont want to confuse issues.

He can't put the password here because it's a public forum, innit. Not hard to find in MMG sect. Can't be bothered to link it as I'm sat in bed on the laptop :)

If you can connect to the server, someone usually comes and says hello to help out anyway.

I suspect 1 or 2 rooms would do for now. WoW had about 5 with 40+ online at any one time in Alliance alone (logged on to WoW, not in TS).

Personally, I'd only use it for PvP. Not that useful for PvE, so not worth the discomfort of wearing the headphones :)
