West Ham going down?

Thrown lots of money around but still looking pretty awful, need a Portsmouth type roll to start.

imo.. unfortunately yes.

With both Neil and Upson picking up knocks is unfortunate, they need to start getting points now if they are to survive. I like West Ham would be a shame to see them go down.

Totemham were pretty hopeless yesterday. Themselves and West Ham has been the biggest underachivevers this season. I thought Spurs would be a pretty safe bet for 5th and probably be quite close to the big 4 again. West Ham have just been messy, the crappy Argentinians mess (2 points only gained when either one was in the side), dressing room rumours, players moaning, injuries at bad times - it's like Eastenders ;)

Anyone care to explain how Paul Robinson who have been totally out of form this season remains Englands number 1 keeper?

Not really. Ashton being out has been a real killer. We have no other top quality forwards. Etherington, Reo-Coker, Benayoun, Mullins, Ferdinand and Gabbidon have been pale imitations of last season. Our goalkeeper has been poor (Carroll mainly) and our backup defenders are shit. Dailly is the worst centre half I've ever seen in the Premiership and Pardew bought utter shit in the summer:

* Carlton Cole
* John Pantsil (clue is in the name)
* Jonathan Spector
* George McCartney (ex-Beatle?)

Pardew (allegedly) fell out with the players in pre-season due to selling on Carl Fletcher and then it showed in the performances. Reo-Coker and the like think they are all Billy Big Time with their new contracts, Bentleys and Rolexes and the whole squad is at rock bottom morale wise.

Us, Charlton and Watford are going down. End of story. When you buy two new defenders and both of them get injured within the first 50 minutes of playing for you, you know its not your season.

:(

Most Spurs fans realised that we would be lucky to be close to where we were last season. With many more games being played (due to us actually winning a few cup games) and among others our talismanic captain being injured long term I am not surprised we are where we are. I still think Martin is clearing the decks and building for the future so no panic here.

I don't think you'll find England have that many options knocking on the door, and while he has had a few howlers he has also pulled off some brilliant stops. Seems to be the fashion to have a go at him at the mo tho so feel free to carry on!

Now that's special.

Dailly IS special - special needs.

Scott Carson or Ben Foster have been FAR FAR better than Fatty Robinson this season. He is average at best and always has been.

Hmn, mebbie (had Carson at the back of my head, Foster had slipped my mind). However as is proved with Barry, once you are in there you need the reserves of the reserves to get injured before you get a chance. The nailed on players seem to get played whatever level they have been performing at.

Is Robert Green injured or out of favour already at West Ham?

The best GK in the Prem (in my opinion) doesn't play for either of the 4 big clubs, but he's not English either :p

I think the table now is far more Lovely. (the bottem bit anyway) ;) Hopefully 3 London teams (if you count Watford as London) going down Hurray!

Although I fear West Ham may still sneak up, I mean spending close to 18million pounds and having the next Maradona given to you free in a dodgy deal it'd be really embarresing if they were to drop ;)

Your opinion is worthless....
It's fine Janie,regardless of what my football team does, you will never reach the premiership which is London ;-)

real men watch Rugby and Cricket, which you don't have an opinion on because you need more than one brain cell to understand the rules >.<
