Was wondering what people were playing at the mo as with so many systems and games its easy to miss good un's.

Dead Rising - 360

Still playing. Frightening bloody game this. Its a rip off of the Dawn of the Dead supermarket parts but I find it truly terrifying. The zombies are good and trying to get through a mall packed with zombies after your blood with nothing but a lump of wood for company is pretty intense. Whenever I come across a huge mob of zombies it always make me go eek. You play a reporter so as well as surviving you have to take pictures of the carnage which adds something to the gameplay. Controls can be a bit clunky but its worth 8.5 out of 10 easy. Very replayable.

Gears of War - 360

Saw this as just a graphics demo at first but the more I play the more I find some good gameplay. The fire fights are excellent and what you imagine a real battle to be with a really good cover system. Looks great and multiplayer seems excellent. 8/10

Loco Roco - PSP

Can't even begin to describe it. Amazingly bizarre. You have to guide a blob thing to the end of the stage by rolling, tilting etc. Easy to play but horribly addictive. 9/10

New Super Mario - DS

Its Mario. 9/10

New Super Mario - DS 8/10 - Some bits I dislike like the save points
Animal Crossing - DS 7/10 - Still addictive and more fun now my niece again found her copy
Wii Sports + Wii Play - Wii 9/10 - Bundled together, some really good things in there, some not so good so only 9/10
COD3 - Wii 10/10 - After the first Doom the most engrossing FPS I've played since, be it the wii-mote or something else really really enjoying this
Zelda - Wii 10/10 - No idea, ask Talili I don't get to play, she LOVES it though
Monkey Ball - Wii 2/10 - Nice main game, a few good multiplayer games, a whole load of uselessness
Armadillo Run - PC 9/10 - Played it, brought it, wish I had more time to kill and it worked on the PC at work

Mostly all high scores as poo stuff I just leave to one side, Monkey Ball though I do find myself keep going back to for some reason.

FFXI - been playing for quite a while (again). Would still have this at the top of my list of MMORPGs of all time. Anyone who never got past level 35 in this should come back and give it a go (BUT, definitely buy a Logitech G15 keyboard, which transforms all aspects of game play in this). Most especially, the folks who love fishing sub games haven't lived till they have given it a go in this :D Can't mention FFXI without mentioning that our folks in this game are the nicest, most helpful and faithful to the guild folk I've ever come across.

It's very easy to play and get into - but its also got extreme depths of job skills, game mechanics and theory, if you choose to get into it. Most other games mechanics and class play I can master in weeks. After three years I'd say I prolly have about 40% tops of this game mastered.


Wii Sports - which comes with the console. Just can't stop going back to it to play Tennis (though I nearly smashed the glasslight fitting on the ceiling last night). Very much hope that Squash for the Wii is a game which appears at some point.

PES6 - Playing with friends (3 of us) once a week doing a master league, we did the same for PES5 and always had a laugh. - PS2 (!)

Oblivion - Off and on depending on my mood, keep getting tired of the oblivion planes and I'm not sure I can be bothered to do them all. -PC

Vanguard Beta - Just trying out different classes, will most likely be playing in release. I seem to get stuck into it for a few days and then find myself forgetting about it for a few days. -PC

Don't have the money to spend on new games or consoles as I'm saving up for the round the world trip, would like a Wii though.

Gears of War 360 currently 2/5 the way through on insane anyone fancy a coop game some when soon

And Rainbow Six Vegas 360 havent tried it online yet
