Windows 7 free anywhere?

Anyone know if there is a free or really cheap place to get windows 7 and serial number plz? My computer is crying out for it and I cant update XP any more as they have stopped supporting it.

don't know about windows 7, but you can get a beta copy of windows 10 free atm (it very good and have found it stable enough) and with luck they do the same as they did with windows 8 and let you buy a copy when it goes live for �25

You get the disc and the activation code. �25 plus free postage. They have several variants so you can probably get exactly what you want, e.g. home/professional, 32/64 bit etc.

/Edit. It says dell on the disc. Being Dell, would it install on any computer?

Hi,

I bought one of these for my HTPC which I put together so it definitely isn't DELL. It worked for me so you should be OK I would have thought. I went for the professional one as it was something like �1 more than the home edition!
