No mate, well- sort of - originally wanted an account for each nation so had 3. Opened a new one for the Brits, but not really interested in French or China atm. German one is most advanced, have a Stug and a Hummell - bout half way to a Panther. Find more than one nation on an acc gets messy and cramped.

Finding the advanced ones a bit hard at the mo as there are so many maps that are new to me or old maps with new starting places not sure where to position arty to best effect yet.

I am waiting patiently for the Italian tanks ( Seriously). 4 reverse gears and one forward gear in case they get attacked from the Front ( Mi dispiace, if there are any Italiophiles like me on here) :)

su152 shares teh 152 with teh KV and the 122 of the top of my head.

It looks, sounds and feels the same however it is a differant gun. You don't need to unlock it however since it comes as stock on the SU-152.

152 mm M-10 is the KV-2 gun.
152 mm ML-20 mod 1931/37 is the SU-152 version. Fires an extra shell per minute, little more pen, accuracy and aim time.

Same thing with the 122mm, very similar to the 122mm's on the KV-1S, IS, KV-2 and KV-3 but with a crazy reload speed (i recall reading its the highest dpm gun in the game). I went with this gun on the SU-152, I think its one of my highest topguns vs battle ratios, that damage and reload speed was fantastic for cleaning up in the latter stages of the battle.

Here is a handy site to view the tech tree/modules etc out of game. www.wotdb.info/

what's the deal with the bigger engines?

i did fag packet math on hp over weight and haven't always upgraded to the biggest if it comes out lower than the one i have. slow tanks baad.

does that make sense? i didn't know if i was missing something and should always upgrade.

A quick reply on the in game comms. The f keys do have specific meanings but if you press Z you get a radial comms menu. Depending on if you are targetting enemy or friendly forces it changes so you can check out all the options. It will also tell you what the f key if there is one.

Go into settings, and there should be a checkbox with something like "enable server side recticle" in there, tick it, and hey presto :)

Covenanter with the Howitzer is LOTS of fun! You are practically arty! Pop out, fire the howitzer in a big looping arc and pop back in to cover and wait for the Damage or destroyed report!

Perhaps this is basic stuff, but it's very neatly explained, specially the spotting thing, it's made me realise I've been moving in too close with my TD, when I should be waiting for the scouts to light stuff up for me so I stay hidden

Read that a little late as while things were cheap got my scout some bino's :/

That said I had one game with them just to try them out and seemed to work wonders, bino's mainly thought to be for TD's then and scouts would get optics ?

anything that sits and snipes binos, i use them on my Lowe as its a support tank and dosent take a pounding on the front line like say an IS3
