Just sent a batch of friends invites to Vortal, Gottaa, Piper & Cad... Anyone else around on Live add me pleasey (SkullPwnee)

Also found out that you can indeed plug a USB keyboard into the 360 and use it for typing messages to friends etc at the moment, just need to experiment and see if any of the games support it. I had a spare Apple Pro USB keyboard hanging around which being white looks quite nice with the 360 (and is small), just need to find a wireless jobbie to try next :)

I've got a premium one, but not got any games yet other than Geometry Wars (and a rather broken TV so I can't see the edges, which makes it somewhat harder). Also I've got Live but not a long enough network cable so I'm waiting on a wireless thingy. Gamertag is "Tenuous", if you want to add me (and I'll get it sorted when it arrives).

360 games generally are not going to support KB/mouse combo it seems as a lot of people are worried about the advantage it will give online. Keeping the playing field lvl I guess.

Tag is:

Waefre CUK

so add me if you want and when I get live going properly, I'll sort it out.

I can't move the router, it's a combo ADSL modem/switch/wireless router thing and it's got 3 PCs hooked to it via cable. Plus I really don't think running cable across the living room floor will be a popular long term option with the wife :)

Looks like some will - FFXI Beta on the 360 not only supports it, but recommends it! :)

Yeah I'm talking more on the FPS's and stuff like that. I think its'd be very hard playing an MMO without. :)

Played Starwars Battlefield 2 (or whatever its called) on my bro's PS2 over xmas, boy did I suck at controlling it - yes it was split screen which didn't help - but I even maanged to get stuck in scenery and all sorts!

However after a couple of hours, I could at least kill some of the AI enemy - sort of found the knack was smaller movements of the joystick thumb things on the pad, and as Piper said inverted Y-axis for me too.

Would still never choose to play an FPS on there tho (by choose I mean buy)

Now if Xbox 360 is supporting keyboards/mice starting to sound more interesting :)

Did they release any games worth playing on the 360 yet? Whenever I look it just seems to be the same ol' same ol' EA sports 2006 stuff and a few average looking other games.
