From what I've read they've done a completely different interface for PC compared to consoles and some extra features like time unit overlays on terrain too so sounds like they're making an effort.
The game trailer brings back some of the feeling of the original game, really can't wait for this one. Think I'll be locking myself in the spare room for a few days Howard Hughes style....
