Your Best and Worst Concerts/Gigs.

Mine.

Worst :

3. The Shins - Some small venue in London I can't remenber the name of (not The Forum). They came onstage, played there songs nearly indentically as the record with zero interaction aside for the odd 'Thanks' at the end of songs, it was a fairly bland gig.

2. The Chili Peppers - Wembley Arena (Stadium Arcadium tour). Talk about playing on autopilot, i'd seen them once before several years before and they were much better. This setlist was short and predictable and the band just didn't seem interested.

1. Radiohead - Tent tour. Booked the tickets BEFORE Kid A cameout and by the time the concert came round Kid A was out and I hated it. Also it was a Tent tour and this was the second date at the same location and it had hammered down with rain overnight so the 'floor' was just a mudslick and the tent smelt awful, I was sick afterwards and they barely played anything pre Kid A :(

Best later, to hot.

Worst - Guns and Roses - they were always too pissed and drugged up to play well live.

Best - The Rolling Stones or Aerosmith

Cullhaven

Hernes Son
Decided pretty early on that I didnt much care for live music - I was always disappointed by the live as opposed to the recorded sound. Its a strange thing, as I really do like a couple of live tracks from albums, Live Freebird for example - but would never go to see a band live, no matter how much I liked them on record. Just not for me.

Maybe not what you had in mind, but you didn't state what sort of music so these are mine :p

Best was the first time I saw La Bohme, it was performed by the Welsh National Opera at Plymouth Theatre Royal. Amazing opera, it still impresses me every time I see it.

Worst by far was Dr. Ox's Experiment, some new-fangled opera performed by the ENO at the London Coliseum. It was so bad we left after the interval and went for a Chinese instead!

Requiel

PVC Love God
Best was probably AC/DC at Donington about a million years ago. Also on the bill were Queensryche, Black Crowes, Metallica and Motley Crue.

Worst was Warrant who were supporting David Lee Roth at the time. They were just terrible.

Catz

Catz is ebil *snigger*
Best - Queen in 1970's, Eurythmics 1980's, Guns and Roses 1990's, Gwen Steffani 2000's so far.

Worst - Take That just before they broke up.

Hmm, tough tough one - Best are a selection of:
Motley Crue. 2005 - Birmingham NEC
Ministry at Mera'Luna in 2006
Dropkick Murphys Boston - StPatricks day Weekender 2009
The Bays & Royal Heritage Orchestra - Birmingham Custard Factory 2008

The worst:
Loads of shitty 2 piece ebm gigs from 2000 to whenever it was i stopped paying money to those talentless idiots.

Brutus

Hairier than thou
Hmm:

Best: Therapy? 1995 Liverpool Opera House, Metallica 1995 Donnington (same one as you Req!), Within Temptation 2007 Manchester

Worst: Machine Head 1996 Manchester (they just couldnt play), Marilyn Manson 1999 Milton Keynes Bowl (All I can say is what a wanker, his fans did not help either).

Oh i was at that day in Milton Keynes.
Ministry at 2pm was confusing. Sepultura rocked. Metallica were stunning.... and Everything on the second stage was utter gash :)

Best - Dream Warriors, Petshop Boys , Robbie Williams (sing when you're winning tour)

Worst - Britney Spears this year was without a doubt one of the most disappointing gigs I've been to (thank fuck it was free) Rolling Stones voodoo lounge tour, for the price of the ticket SO not worth it....

Pegasus Belgar

Red Bull gives me wings!
Best: Def Leppard in 1989 at NEC, had centre revolving stage and the music was awesome. We even had a competition on each side who could sing "I Love Rock and Roll" the loudest. Unforgetable experience.

Bon Jovi - Southampton Stadium June 2008

LEAVE BRITNEY ALOOOOONNNNEEEE!

She mimed and wouldn't have been out of place in a strip joint, in fact I've seen strippers who danced better than she did on stage.

Ciara her support was fucking amazing

Britters was shit
