Advice on buying the game.

Bought my code from here Shattered Crystal

Its run by Markee Dragon, probably remember him if you played UO. anyways. they take paypal and they "will" call you first time off just to verify its you (They will call all the way from the US), but after first time you have an "account" as it were. then all i did was to use that game time code they sent me. they charge $14.95, which at current exchange rate is about 7.50.. but it was definatly about �8 something last time, might be tax or whatever.. still not bad price.

If 90 days cost 300mill in game you could buy 300mil from Ebay, for �24, which works out cheaper than paying normal subscription.

Lot more hassle though (Not to mention the EULA)

Hold on, can you basically pay in game money (inside the actual game) to pay for playtime, or is it basically trading it to a person who then buys a game-card and sends it too you ?

Its Trading with a person mate.. Personally I'm not sure i would trust that way of paying for gametime, but i guess CCP would have stopped it if any funny business was going on.

CCP allows game time cards (GTC's) and also make sure that anyone who uses the eve online forum to advertise they are selling GTC's for in game cash, doesn't scam. If they do scam, they get banned and you get refunded.

Its a bit of a hassle but there are a few certain procedures you have to follow before any form of trading takes place such as both parties need to eve mail each other saying they are giving/receiving a 90 day GTC for 300M or w/e. Its effectively a receipt.

So basically, you go to 0,0 or where ever and farm 300M (even on lvl 4 's in high sec its easy over 90 days) and buy 3 months of play time from a guy who has purchased a code for RL cash.
