Anyone recommend a decent airbrush specficially for painting camo on 15MM flames of war tanks :)

You can actually achieve a fairly effective (and similar effect) by painting the cmouflage on in sections of the various colours, when dry simply dry brush wherever the colours have edges to blend them in and viola, simple effective camouflage without the need for an airbrush.

The basic tank painter's airbrush that most people seem to recommend these days is the Iwata Eclipse range. They are cheap without being nasty and flexible enough for everything from laying down basecoats on large figures to detailing small kits.

You can get them with the integral paint cup or a side feed jar depending on how much paint you need to throw out at a time.

i'm told hobbycraft are selling off a bunch of airbrushes cheap at the moment - specifically, Badger ones. anyone know if these are any good? i've been considering getting one for a while, and if they're cheap and good it may be enough to push me over the edge :p

Not heard much about them tbh, may I suggest google?

That said I have one of the Iwata air brushes and a phat compressor from them also, very very good piece of kit, in all honesty though I still wonder if its worth the money but if you have the cash available you really can not go wrong with them, just make sure you learn to look after the thing properly!
