Superb game. Blacks had to win to save face. Boks had to win to claim the Tri-Nations title.
This game had everything. From the first second 'cut throat' Haka, you could see the Blacks were bursting with emotion. There was pace, good hands, bad hands, smashing, boshing tackles, superb tactical kicking, bad place kicking, but most of all huge, huge heart from both sides.
This is what sport should be all about. Not petulant childishness, but blokes letting it all hang out for the sheer pride of the shirt on their backs. There's many a manager of many sports, not least Sven who should make his players watch that until the idea sinks in.
Catch the repeat if you possibly can.
