What's Fixed

Client:

- Fixed various client crashes
-"'JRTC Farm Raid" filters correctly in server browser
- Running in 16-bit windowed mode no longer has render errors
- Fixed reflex sight accuracy
- Fixing "ROE" URL on support page and new-map URL
- Disable "set" command for non-config variables (devmode exploit)
- Fix Auth Failure messages that have a URL

Server:

- Minor memory fixes
- Fixed various server/client crashes
- Remove "query" exploit
- Fixed server stability issues
- Fixed Admin spectate command
- Memory Leak fixes
- Fixed pb admin commands

Still no Linux patch out though, i'll keep an eye on it .....

Thanks for keeping an eye out for the linux stuff Chick.

As for the patch, the find server search is borked for me. Ill have a stern word with the new patch tonight.

Apparently gamespy is busted, which the server browser relies on, maybe.
Oh, if you upgrade to 2.2 you won't be able to play on 2.1 servers apparently too.

and.. loads of people on their forums are pissed, just bcause...

Ok, Ok, Ok, i've been surfing their forums too ! Damn, i need a better job.
No news on the linux patch, probably a week or so, accoring to some bloke with a high postcount.

Where can you download the entire latest version from ? According to my eye doc I should be able to get lenses for both eyes soon so I'll be back in the land of the sighted (touch wood)

ulp - might mean we'll be unable to play on our own server for a week or so. wonder what TWL's ruling is on this for matches...

will keep a weather eye out for any Linux news too Chick - thanks for efforts today :)

tending to play whatever map is our next match - though Pipeline has ALWAYS been the favourite map, and we're still more than happy to go lurk about in there for a few hours.

Rumor has it though that 2.2a is on its way soon, and maybe Linux/Mac is skipping 2.2. 3vil memory leaks, or something.

ie this will be released as 2.2a hopefully at the same time as windows version

...though 2.3 for windows is supposed to be mid november - so... i dunno...

Got fed up of most game sI been in, all official and punkbuster enabled ones too :(

been the first itm eI've seen multiple 203 launchers though, I hear the launching sound like 5-6 times in quick succession, thought it was a sound glitch, then see carpet bombing going on in the distance :(

pipeline still seems fair game though, get a few aimbotters but most servers seem to be ok.

2.2.1 appears to be out for Windows,a dn allegedly 2.2.1 is "In final beta testing" for linux, including the dedicated server.
