I got to play for an hour or so and wanted to say Hi back to you CUK fellas but wasn't sure how to do that!

After trying to work out I wasn't playing BF1942 any longer and trying to use the right keys I got my first kill! I jumped with joy though that quickly turned to embarrassment when I realised he was a team mate! DOH!

Though sucking quite badly at the game I managed to get a few proper kills towards the end of the session so there's hope for me yet!

However, Emmon kept turning me into a pepperpot everytime I stuck my head out a vent that led outside so you're owed some payback you big meaney! ;p

All in all was a fun time!

ive got a severe fear of playing other FPSes at the moment - mainly because MOH crouch key is fire key in AA and i'm too lazy to be bothered remapping - regular teamkills when i was trying to crouch down when playing this at first.

Woo saw you all on Xfire playing on the CUK server, but it was middle of afternoon here and me very hungover after glittering awards do the night before. May be away this weekend otherwise will try and join the fun (level 15 now!).

I've had a quick scan through those commands but can't find what I was looking for. To avoid ghosting, is there a way to lock the camera to first person?, we can still view all the players but through thier eyes only.

Just a thought.

Im not sure if you can or not matey tbh. The FP view when looking through somebody eyes is very sluggish , I dont know if its bandwidth or resource hungry but it sure does get jerky.

Hey guys the setting you are looking for is set in the settings panel for the server off the GOAA website. Fan what are your system Specs cause that or the fact the servers are on this side of the big pond could be the reason. I have never had a problem with it as a matter of fact I seem to maintain around 75-90 fps even while in 1st person view while dead.

Must admit I've tried to get in repeatedly over last couple of nights and its been full :( Yet to see any 'live' combat action!

when I've had the time to log on I find it's best to log into team speak and see if there is space (i.e a non CUK'er on the server, who either doesn't mind leaving or the powers that be decide I would be more comedy value than that person ;))
