Final shop upgrade today :) Cheers Acid.

Ella even got her first four leaf clover yesterday, time to test the theory that it helps money trees grow :)

I've not had much luck with money trees. The best thing I read is that every 10,000 increases the odds of a tree growing money is increased by 10%. Also the maximum you can plant it 50,000 to give a 50% chance. I've not heard the thing about the four leaf clovers though, I'll have to try that.

Bugger had someone move out cos I could never be arsed to run to the corner of the map where they house was :(

Will someone new just move in at random or am I now stuck with only 7 neighbours now ?

People move in and out around every 3 days. You can convince someone not to leave (you have to have been talking etc to them 3 times in one go each day and doing their missions etc etc.) and then send them a letter saying just "please don't leave" or something for them not to leave. If you succeed then that person won't leave and another random person in your town will want to leave in 3 days.

I think this was the problem with Lilly leaving my town is that when someone visits it seems to reset this clock somehow. It may be that Lilly moves to your town now as they do tend to move into friends towns.

To be honest the whole process is a little mysterious and there are no guides on it, these are just some of my observations.

Then you might get Annabel, a right sarcastic cow (she's actually a cow btw, You couldn't make this stuff up could you !) To be honest I'm quite glad she moved out, always ill, and when she was okay it was like using the post office late at night ....

It seems that every 3-5 days everyong's jobs in town changes. one person gets ill, one person wants blue furnature, one person want mail delivered, one person wants clothes... etc etc.

The ill and mail quest ones are really good and easy and a good way to help your friendship rating with that NPC. When you get high friendship rating they have some sort of random chance of giving you their picture to put in your house (worth a lot of HRA points). So far I've got 3 pictures...

PS it's salmon season so get fishin !!!

I got one yesterday :) And don't even remember getting it, must have looked away and done some work at a key moment :)

I've already caught quite a few salmon, donating those the museum doesn't already have, and selling the rest, though I will keep one aside for my "boys room" when the house gets that big :)

Corwin - I'll add you to my friends list at lunch, if you've just started Aciid and I could pop over and chop all your trees down for you :D Or we could bring some different fruit and stuff to help you get started, either works ;)

Crazy Redd's day for me tomorrow, wonder I'd best save up tonight to get something nice.

How do you know if you won the bug contest on sunday ? Talili caught a massive butterfly, handed it in but then we took Rosie out for some fun and water and by the time we came back the mayor had gone and no-one seemed to give a hint as to who had won :(

On the plus side the first fruit grove has fruit on it now, so time to get rich :) (after losing big on the stalk market last week)

I think they post the winner on the noticeboard outside the post office. You realy need a birdwing butterfly to win, they're the biggest I've got so far, but I couldn't find any yesturday so guess I lost.

One tip I have for winning is to get the biggest item then logout and power down. If the other characters can't play they can't win ;)

To choose what day crazy red comes on you need to talk to that insurance guy who appears saturday mornings.

Well thankfully, we have people like Andy looking out for our kids, eh? :D

Heh, I'm male in my late 30's and found it ammusing for quite while, it's a bit like one of those tamagotchi (sp?) thingies. It does get a bit boring and chore like though. I was even thinking of getting the new version for the Wii as it comes with a camera.... Does this mean one day I will wake up and suddenly turn into a stalker???
