Announcing the "Tonk Off"

Yeah okay so maybe my name for the event isn't the greatest but it's my party so I'll do it how I want

The time:
Thursday 24th - 9pm

The place:
Menethil Harbour, on the bridge

What you need to bring:
Yourself, and a sense of humour, and willing-ness to enjoy tonk battles. I've made 16 tonk controllers so far, sign up so I make sure I make enough

I'm not in the CUK guild but I want to come along, is that okay?
No, you suck, haha ... seriously of course you can come along and join in the merryment. One slight caveat as I've used some bits from the CUK bank to make some of the controllers if people wanted to donate either a gold bar or 3 mithril bars (tonk controllers only take 1/3 a bar of gold and 3 bars of mithril to make), it would be most appreciated

Gottaa, what's a tonk ?
Well I'm glad you asked, there steam powered gizmos which use a small amount or radio-active stuff (hardly ever harmful amounts) which are controlled with a little box of levers and buttons, the levers and the button through gnomish advanced techniques tell the device what to do. That clear enough ? if not watch this video. The bridge out of menethil harbour was picked as it's quieter, but large enough for some tonk action, if the curve of the bridge causes a problem we'll find somewhere flatter nearby

What are we going to do ?
Have tonk fights, anything from massive tonk wars to 1v1 bouts until we have a champion

Any questions post em up, if you can make it post here as well so I can be sure I have enough controllers for the day

Changed the time from 3pm to 8pm as looking at things that suits us better as well, maybe can make it later if that's the consensus but as sad as it is I quite like earlier nights at the moment so we'll see, will go with the masses though

I have to create, then eat a curry every sturday night - its part of a by-law or old charter or something - so unfortunately I wont be able to attend. Happy Tonking though

Tuesday is out for Catz and Bertyr, worse case we'll just wait till everyone is on one evening and do it then, would be nicer to give a little warning here as might catch people we've all not seen in a while (and I'm pretty sure that will be a good thing )
