Well Ive' just sent this via the "match dispute" link on the TWL site:
Hi there.
Basically on Friday we turned up on our sever at 8:00 PM to await the start of our match, 8:30 came along and still no one from the MOFSW team had showed.
Then after we had posted some "hi we're waiting" type comments on their website we recieved a comment back from them saying we were an hour early as they were running to BST times.
So we waited till 9pm GMT (8PM according to them) and still no show.
The upshot of it all is that we waited till 10pm our time and still has no sign of them and then we just reset our server back to normal and played till nearly midnight all with no showing from the opposition.
Since then the plot thickens as their website appears to have "gone missing" and they have not posted the forefit that they should have allowing us to move on and challenge someone else as we're "locked" in this battle with them that they appear to have no intention of playing.
Please could you rectify this situation so we can get on with playing people who actually want to play.

I just wanted to say all through the two hours we waited on the server we were PM'ing them we had posted multiple times on their forums that we were waiting and they didn't show, not a single one of them, too early or not we DID wait for them to show, they didn't, regardless of them "thinking" that we had left our server when there were 8 people 4 on the server and 4 off waiting to play them for over 2 hours, that was a bad assumption on their part NOT ours and they should forefit in my opinion

As this is the thread in question which clearly shows the timeline of events and them taking liberties.
Regardless of our mistake (which has never been a problem in the past) they didn't show for the match and instead took to throwing abuse at us on their forums when we were asking in a civilised manner
I might add where they were.
If you could let me know how you've come about the conclusion that they were right in not showing up for the match I'd very much appreciate it as I can't see how you've come to this conclusion at the moment.

Bit of an update with regards to their team.
Check this out, this is their match history.
Having a look through it they seem to have a HELL of alot of admin awarded wins due to the other team not showing up and even more "not played" matches.
As Indy would say "I've got a bad feeling about this".......

'sI can wait forever on that ladder tbh no need to report a loss just so they can screw someone else over,if they want to challange anyone else in that ladder there have to hit the report a loss button.Id rather just forget that ladder than ever hit the button,in fact why dont we just join all the ladders there in challange em then not bother to play just to tie up there ladders

Aye if they wont sort it we can just wait, ther are other ladders we can play on for now. I now wonder wether they always pick friday and saturday nights on purpose.
To either weaken a squad through members having comitments on those nights, or to actualy get squads to forfeit because they cant get enough players to play on those nights.

He's just posted this on the match Coms:
" Guys, as I've said in many previous posts, the easiest thing to do would be to reschedule. You made a mistake with the time, we didn't show thinking you were going to try to claim a forfeit, that's it plain and simple. If you waited for 2 hours that's your perogative, the ladder rules don't require it. Our suggested dates for the match are Wednesday 9th June @ 20:00 GMT (21:00 BST) or Thursday 10th June 20:30 GMT (21:30 BST)."
I say just do it on the Thursday, the problem is now if we don't do it we get to look like we're refusing to play and they (by the look of their track record) will get the admin awarded win.

Right so we've got two for playing them and two against, any more for any more, personally just want to get this out of the way chaps, we have a pipeline match against them, we can call them ****s etc still when we've ripped them a new one and everyone will be happy.
And as Kami says if they don't show then no ammount of them bitching a whining will stop them from getting a loss.
In addition we know what their BST time trick is so we won't be "early" and we can spam their board every five mins saying "we're ready to play and waiting for you"
