Theres a few Banksy stencils in Bristol so he tends to crop up in the local papers round here. Nearly had a coffee related accident reading about his latest piece.

Banksy Places Fake Rock Art at British Museum...

Art prankster Bansky placed a fake prehistoric rock art of a caveman with a shopping trolley on the walls of the British Museum...

A sign next to the work described it as an "early man venturing towards the out-of-town hunting grounds". The sign read: "This finely preserved example of primitive art dates from the Post-Catatonic era.

The museum’s spokeswoman stated: "We're reasonably confident that it hadn't been up for that long, maybe a couple of days. It looked very much in keeping with the other exhibits, the explanatory text was quite similar."
