yerp, ill be there, postponed returning to the gym (them digi pics were quite a shock!) till tommorow.... jaysus if were playing 1 demo map so much whats the full game gonna be like when we get to kill jerries... personally im hoping once you clear Omaha beach you get to move on and trash a few french towns ...*unts
The Tubach Scenario sounds good, the german side has to take the town despite fierce swiss neutrality and the swiss side has to give out cake to the all conquering german heros.... and then claim that they're lagged

according to Heidi the game doesnt lag coz of bandwidth but cpu time so im guessing your machine would be sweet roch, plus you get a zero ping to aid l33t sniping
think i asked this before on another thread but does dual athlon make a big diff on games and all apps? or is it still like the old Pentium Pro days when the app had to specifically use multi processors... need an upgrade but more or less athlon'd out

Right chimps, managed to get both the dedicated server and the game client installed on my PC at the same time. We'll have to give it a go tomorrow night and see if we get the same lag.
I reckon the problem was that with the client acting as the server it was only ever using one CPU because the game doesn't do SMP. With both programs running at the same time they get a CPU each, so one for the server (like when I was running dedicated) and one for me to use to kill you all.
Now I need to learn to fly planes.

We had a good game on your server last night. Me and Emmon were getting royaly kicked by merly and Elcar and were down about 150-1, 1 more kill and me and emmon had lost, we retook all the Capture points and killed em both for a classic comeback victory of 0-1
The dedicated sever seemed to suffer from spikes, was fine for a period, virtually lag free and then would pause and give the connection prob box. When i joined your one after tho when you were testing it was perfect.
