Dunno if any of you are aware of these but The Black Keys album El Camino has been on almost non stop for me for the last month or so. Well worth a check out.

Yep, have Brothers as well but do prefer the later album. I haven't checked out any of their earlier stuff, but I've little incentive to go hunting for more atm
Think they're certainly someone I'd make an effort to go and see if they ever do a UK tour or even a festival tour.

I saw 'em twice last year and honestly, of all the touring bands at the moment, I would make and effort to see them if I were you. Phenomenal gig.

That wasn't mean as an insult. I own all FF albums and BK albums from Rubber Factory onwards and they do sound alike, well new BK sounds like early FF to be more precise. The more bluesy rootsy early stuff doesn't but since they've gone more poppier on the last couple of albums, they do have a FF vibe going on.
