Just built this 12 core beast on an ASUS X79 SABERTOOTH MB, Corsair H100i W/C, 16GB, Corsair Force 240GB SSD in a red NZXT Phantom Case, and OC'd to 'only' 4Ghz for stability (no Voltage increase needed) I reckon it would easily do 4.5, and get nearer 4.8, but that would mean managing heat a bit, so not really suitable for the person it's going to. Fun to work with though :) ASUS Geforce GTX 680 with their 3 slot cooler finishes it off! Shouldn't need upgrading for a few years!

My pic was a bit crap, but by the time I was actually finished (cable ties - tied etc) I had spent ages testing, and turning fans round and fed up of lifting it off/on the desk (there is a 24" monitor hiding behind there somewhere) I didn't get chance to get a final pic - still I've got to do the data transfer yet and planning to make sure they see the inside so will get another chance :)
