Very mixed reports so far from people who have seen the film.

The general opinion seems to be that its better than Phantom, but still not a patch on the originals. Poor dialogue, some bad acting and confusing plot.

Ewan Mc is good as Obi-Wan though apparently and everyone seems to be going ga ga about Yoda fighting.

Guess we'll know next Thursday.

All the reviews Ive read seem to think that the only problem is that the acting is wooden and that the love story is full of cliches, but its still supposed to be better than Ep 1.

On the bright side Jar Jar Binks is only in it for a couple of minutes :D

Yoda fighting still strikes me as somewhat surreal.
Still from what I hear it's gonna rock.

Yoda must have a really small lightsaber though

ooer missus :D

I have an idea that when Yoda fights with the force it wont be with a lightsaber. I think we'll get to see what how a real Jedi Master or maybe that should be midget fights.... i mean why run around with light sabers (you could have a nasty accident with one of those) when you can hurl X-Wings at your opponent or control his mind and get him to chop his own feet off (at the neck)

It's no good - I've got this image of Kermit the Frog dueling Darth Vader now. I mean, Yoda IS a muppet (in the original sense of the word) aint he?

Maybe someone should make a prequel to Pigs In Space though :)

tis quite a kewl film - miles better than ep 1. Huge fight scene at the end! But i was a bit confused by some of the plot lines - but i guess it sorta makes sense at the end. Yoda fighting is awesome - he is a dude! Jar jar is in a few scenes, but he seems to have taken luds of valium this time round - so he is well chilled and hardly speaks (which can only be a good thing). Quite funny in bits - esp with good old C3PO. Bounty hunter bloke though (jenga fett?) was quite surreal since he sounded australian, and as we all know - Neighbours just cannot be taken seriously (shela :)). All in all - good film - wont disappoint.

Enjoy!

Yeah, I thought it was quite good too; going to see it at the cinema still. The sabre fights are very good :)

Yoda's completley CG this time round although still voiced by Frank Oz, Frank himself said that he really wouldn't have been able to do him justice as a muppet with half the stuff he does.

Getting Yoda fighting right I'd imagine can be done a whole load of wrong ways and very few good ways...without making it pure comedy.

On Sunday...I will find out >:]

I've seen promo pictures of Yoda wielding a massive lightsabre - personally I think he's compensating for something.
That would also explain the 'Judge me by size do you?' comment in Empire Strikes Back. . .

How do I do that!!!!
I am just wondering if Yoda will ever come out with the little paradox!

(you have to think/say this in a Yoda Voice)

"Ah Bitch, Bend over, Take you from the darkside I will"

But asside from that, I cannot wait to see the film :)
