Good game. Try to play it without looking at guides or walkthoughs first - if you can complete it without any help, it will feel much better. Then go look at the guides and see all the tons of stuff you missed and do that all on the second go round.

Sadly I didn't have the patience to take my own advice, and after hitting a wall - I cheated. I wish I hadn't as it soiled the experience. As it is as good a game as it was I still think Demons Soul was the better game by someway.

Demon Souls gets my award for most frustrating game ever. I gave up after continually seeing the same bits of corridor 70 or 80 times in a row.

to answer your question. it's a direct port. FROM Games said "look guys, we know jack all about pc, but you demand a port, so we will port it as is, and off you go."

yeah he fixed the signs not showing up on the floor either.

I can play it on my PC without a gamepad on a 24 inch screen, or on my xbox with gamepad on a 42 inch screen. Wont be spending the monies

While it is very mean, i've just got a Claymore. 2h stance > annoying knights with shields.

6 months and over 300 hours later - still going strong!

Currently working through a Sl1 run eg complete the game without levelling up.
Managed to drop 4 kings yesterday and join the Darkwraith Covenant, for some overpowered pvp action.

So. Much. Fun.
(and nice that a modern game can still be giving new excitement after 300 hours)
