well tonight, while doing Korromar we had a party wipe released to the loading screen, had to reboot my pc to get out of game, it seems the server is truly fucked, worse than ever not only are people not playing much so i log into a very quiet guild the game is playing up..

lots of complaints on the DDO boards as you can imagine. but the boards have also gone down lol !!

hopefully they will get it fixed but i am tempted to search for an active guild soon, so at least i can play the game and hit 10th lol..

lets pray codemasters pull their proverbial fingers out as im contemplating stopping the game soon, love it but its boring as fuck being in game all day with no one to play with :(

I have to say I know what you mean.

Really enjoying the game but the intermittent problems with servers is really starting to grate.

As an example on Friday night I managed to get on with no issues whatsoever but could not log on at all on Saturday.

COG Technical are no use whatsoever

The most often Talili and I will ever be on is tuesday and possibly over the weekend if there is nothing else going on. I don't think DDO could last very long if we played every single night, and TBH I wouldn't want it too, we don't have much free time and don't want a huge time sink to eat up more and more time.

Won't be on this weekend at all though, and may not be on next week as I start my new job then. Will hopefully see you on when we get back on Git, but if not I'd still suggest looking for a different MMO, there are far far better one's out there if you want something to do every evening ingame, DDO I don't think stands up well if you are playing it every day.

Its been a bad week / 10 days for me lately. My company has just bought a new one, which means im putting in far to much time trying to get to grips with what that means for my team etc.

My bad sleeping has come back as well, so all in all im just knackered, by the time i get home at 7:30 put the little one to bed, eat - it gets close to 9:00.

I have been thinking about us merging with another guild, I just dont know who that should be. Rather than just one going though I'd rather we moved all our main characters to the same guild leaving CUK active with our alts.

What do you think?

Having seen it happen in WoW with mains in one guild, and alts in another all that really ends up doing is making communications rather difficult because your on the wrong character or some such thing. There certainly isn't a problem with people leaving alts in the guild but if the reason they are leaving is to have a more active playerbase leaving an alt in an essentially empty guild neither helps them or the guild they are moving too.

Not gonna move though personally, don't play enough to be bothered about it and we'd only end up feeling more behind in levels and we're just not in a rush to get to level 10. And I don't really want to be in another guild, I'm happy to remain in CUK for the times when we are going to login.

I've only not been around this weekend, due to having squishy company over. I've had a fantastic time and I feel a decent dose of reality has done me some good. I should be online and in guild with my main most of next week, evenings anyway, plus a goodly portion of next weekend.

Have fun guys, I'm going back for more cuddles............

Its the server issues that made my mind up in leaving this alone tbh, if it had been stable I woud have stayed and enjoyed the game but between there being nobody about and all the problems just to get logged in it became too frustrating and less like a game, if they fix it up I might return, until then though I think I will wait for LOTRO. Hopefully that will at least work! :p

Tbh server issues are rare now. The chat problems have been fixed, the logon problems have gone. There are still the odd server crash or fail but ive not seen any for a while personally (but then im not always on late at night)

FRom a stability problem the game is 1000 times better than it was in Early April

yes the game is no where as bad as it was, i find being patient helps >.<

so come back, plus Zed hit 10th im close and in no rush enjoying my bard which is nealry 6th, i think you will find we will be running mainly on alts soon.

Yep alts are fun at the moment, although if more strangers start picking arguments with my forged in the marketplace and RPing I may play him more.

Calling me ugly for God's sake, he had a gimp mask on like Tazz's :D

Well I might just try it out again for a month and see how things go if it has improved as much as you say.

the game is definately alot more stable that it was mate, i said at the time numbers would drop and they did..

i won't be on tonight martial arts night but ill be about tommorow and probably friday hopefully.

yes went back recently i miss it so much and it's the only thing i ever really enjoyed fitness wise apart from Rugby.
