Decent Iphone/Ipad chargers

My kids have broke about 6 of mine and I'm getting sick of forking out 15 quid every month. Does anyone know where I can buy a decent long last charger that isn't apple made?

Oh trust me they know the value of stuff. I have already made them pay for a few things they broke. They're only 6 and 8 though so I don't think their pocket money can keep up with the crap chargers though

Oh and bought 2 from play.com for 4 quid that work better

Just get some standard off the shelf micro-usb chargers standardized across the Eu for years.... oh wait

Seriously though iirc you can get adapters to convert micro-usb to apple-proprietry. They could help?

Sorry to hijack a thread but its somewhat related. I'm trying to find a replacement cable for my Ipad 3rd gen but I'm after one which has the push to release connections that the original 30pin cables had rather than the friction based connectors they moved to later.

Anyone come across them? Amazon don't seem to have any and ebay is unreliable at best. If anyone has an older cable that matches this and knows a part number i can use to help search that would be great.
