Diablo 3 Beta test

I've heard mention that this is the friends and family beta. They've also invited journalists and people who run fan sites but not the great unwashed as of yet.

The sign up happened a while back. You have to opt into the D3 beta and update your system profile on Battle.net.

*cough* Picty *cough*

She needs the practice time so that when it's released she knows how to not shoot everyone in the back.....

amusingly, I was talking to my g/f about this, and she didn't think guy works at blizzard. A quick google pulls up this amusing thing too:

That's not something we tend to talk about, Clunis says. We like to keep players' habits to themselves. It's for them to talk about.

1. Love the typo.
2. Love how that 2 lines will probably enrage all these "wow-widow" groups :D

My favourite person is this:

"His guild? People he doesn't know in real life? What about his wife? And the worst part is, I'm afraid to say anything to him about it any more, because it does no good"

So, you feel your marriage is falling apart, that he doesn't care about you. But you decide to not mention it anymore. Awesome.

Anyway, back on topic, anybody near france who can start beating key's out of people? :D

So there I was, enjoying breakfast in bed with my gf and my mum calls me early on a Saturday morning (a rarity at the best of times) and says "Oooh Guy, you're quoted in The Times". I wake up very, very suddenly, trying to recall the conversation I had with the journalist the previous week when I also stated that I couldn't be quoted as a Blizzard spokesperson. Mum then says "yes, it's an article all about people who play to much and get addicted". At that point I'm wide awake and 3 seconds later on the phone to my boss to tell her that I'm quoted in The Times... Fortunately I know my stuff so it came out well, but f*ck me, it's not what you need on a Saturday morning :D

Anyway, beta keys. I currently have one left. Roch, who should get it? We need a competition :D

I think it should go to the person who has supplied the most beta keys to forum members over the years.

That article is quite amusing really. Good to know that Starcraft (not even sc2, given when it was written) is an mmo...
