i'm fairly sure it didn't, but to find the list wasn't much more than changing the .mpq file to a .zip/.rar file, and unzipping it to find the lists in there? (back in d2)

i wont but i just know if i play it with people they'll be all 'oh at your level you should have a squigglys-talon you know, only absolute nubs are still using a heffalumps-claw'... and then i'll have to put more people on ignore

The Talon is overrated. Pro players go for Salack's Sanctified Sphincter Spreader every time.

I can see this being a stat they should add to Diablo, number of mouse clicks, and people can be graded and judged by there peers on the number.

I don't know how true that will be in the full game, apparently you can't do much to your NPC, but the options are there... (specifically NPC AI) you just can't change them, that might be the case with this?

As far as I know, there's no way to change stats. They increase automatically as you level and items give bonuses as before.
