Dnd Online - short and to the point

If Turbine stick faithfully to the DND core rules (This will be 3.5 rules unless 4.0 is out by then) and they get the world right there should be zero issues with game balance etc that have plagued them through AC1 and now (sadly) AC2.

Im keeping my eye on it but its not due until 2005 so the beta wont beuntil next year at the earliest i suspect. Middle earth and Dragon empires are others i want to look at. Maybe WOW but DND is probably where ill end up staying if it works well.

mmm dwarf girls

havnt read too much on this so far but i do wonder which way they will go with it, artistic license wise.

If you have to stick rigidly to the storyline/known world of middle earth it could limit what they can do with the game.

ie... fill Fangorn forest with orcs to hunt, but then the hardcore tolkein folk might not like that as Fangorn wasnt full of orcs.

on the other hand being a dwarf and being able to explore the mines and get a big raid together to go kill the Balrog on the bridge would be tops :)

Its supposed to be following the world development as the fellow ship travels to mordor. so for instance I think i saw mordor wont be open until after the timeline gets the fellowship through (olr the balrog will be there before hand and not afterwards etc)
