Signed up for the Beta today.

If I get in mbe I can finally grp with a few CUK ppl an get proposed as a full member rather than a non chimp board reader.

Look forward to fighting it out for a town or two with yall.

Btw is it just me or do the details of this game look the b******s after reading the April 1 dev Clicky chat I am sooo looking forward to DE.

Make a nice change after getting bored for the second time of DAOC.

From the news letter i just got

Beta news!
Plans for beta starting are just about on schedule. However, due to contract negotiations taking longer than expected Beta 0 will now not start till June. Beta 0 will be very small, probably around 100 people. We intend to start very simple with just basic movement and combat systems in place - no progression or high level game play. This will be rolled out as the whole beta system proves itself. After we have established stability and we have all the systems to handle bug reports and feedback we will start to add more testers and features. We estimate Beta 0 will last at least one month.

Ment is that 100 a open invite to peeps that have aplied for beta or do they have 100 alrdy in mind,would have thought you'd be better off with people codemasters have used before for beta testing.Ie internall testers and peeps like yourself in codemaster or are all those internal and others lined up alrdy and its 100 peeps to join them

For whom the beta tolls
As you all know beta is in June. Currently we plan to start selecting testers mid/late June with the beta starting late June, all going well. If you are selected you will hear, no need to mail us. We will keep people updated in the newsletters.

New News letter just out reads

Beta Phase 0 is currently scheduled to start at the end of June with selection of the first 100 testers taking place in week 3 or so.You won't need to mail us to make sure you get in nor do you need to mail us if you don't get contacted. Phase 0 will test a lot of simple mechanics and once these have been tested thoroughly we will move on to the next stage. At each step we will inform you of how many we will add to the test and roughly when this will occur
