Hi all well been here and there but mostly there.
Let me bring you up to speed as to what i have been doing and what is going in the DE forums.
Seems to be a running battle with clan names at present as in who can get the most recognised before beta.
I was co leader of Knights Of Justice trouble is we have just found out its allready in use by a clan on Diablo :( so new name new web site

This is a temp web site only and will be taken to a new home once the members feel it is a good name.
Please read the Who we are bit it explains a lot and there are about another 40 sections to be added but that will not be done untill the real web site goes live.
So go have a look tell me what you think, and sign up :p

also could you please leave a post on the DP forum pretty please thx :grin:

Had a look mate, nice site.

I think the thing here is that I can't remember CUK actually doing much game wise until the game actually comes out. We generally don't tend to set up a load of stuff before hand.

I think the interest in SWG is the most we've had before an MMG release and thats just because its Star Wars.

ok this is honest criticism. don't take it to heat or take offence.

running my screen at 1152 /864 32 bit colour

the top banner sems wrong there just somthing about the text in it that doesn't look ring, as is it been streached out or somthing. as the pic behind the text also seem "streached" as well.
on my screen the little bit of animate text just seems blurry.

the general back ground is very nice. but i did find that after reading for a while the yellow text on a purple backgroud was geting sore on my eyes. also the link at the very bottoem of the page are hard to see due to the similar colour to the background.

i liked what you writen about who you are, tho it either to long or too short. by this i mean for the non RPer it too long for them to read, and for the RPer it to short,


there not really much more to say. it a new site and as such is lacking hard info, but i execpt that to change as the info is released

Your opinion is worthless....
unless im in a beta i don't even think about a game until Gold :/ and the fact DE emails still keep coming out garbled in my email i won't bother until it goes gold :)

as Tree already said CUK has a knack of holding off until you can pre-order and there is an official release date.

personally saying im still in DAoC and i wont be touching SWG as it's too Verant/Carebear for me :p

Sweet this is the info i need.
As for the story the long long version is on it way, just have to get my writting head on :)

Thing with doing all this now its pretty much set that if your in one of the top clans by may your allmost certainly going to get into beta, in fact Calista is starting to do a ranking system and avitars for guilds now.

This are certainly hotting up for this title now and stratics have some exclusive screen shots not even published on the Dragon Empires site.

Will get the banner sorted as i agree it does look stretched at that res but at 1024x768 it looks ok.

Just need to start a recruitment drive now so I know its actuly worth continuing with.

any more comments will be a great help to me good or bad I dont mind.

Thanks for the input so far guys much appriciated.

I take it this is a roleplayers guild from the 'who we are' bit cos it got all Requiel on me :camp:

Orange writing isn't very easy on the eye mate and ur spelling needs checkin out in certain area's, forums work nicely though so thumbs up for free time ;)

yeah speeling is fecked but that will be sorted it was about 3 hours work so not a great load of effort went in.

LMAO Kegs u mad irishman, hmm colours are never easy mate as every one has a personal fav / hate, it's ur baby but maybe a bland background with an unobtusive fancy logo in it and ur text in sommat bold. TBH I would have to put myself in the Piper catagory and say I'm cluesless to whats best.

I'm sick of betas, they are a waste of time. They are also full of people that want to be in the beta just to say "I'm in the beta and you're not"

I'd rather wait for the retail release, although these days the game still isn't actually finished then either.

Betas can be fun though long as you dont go in with a bunch of n00bs who think everything should be there.
Like asherons call or asherons call 2 allthough AC2 was pants then and still is now :)

Not sure about the name of the clan though we are in discussions atm to retain our old name Knights Of Justice, and according to calista if the other one comes over its tuff we had it it first in DE and we are currently ranked 4th.
I realy need to update the clan list there are only 16 people on it hehehe.

Nice start to the site m8, the top banner appears streched and out of shape on my setup (1280x1024 32bit)

Continue to speak to Calistas and tell him you know me and I am sure we can work something out with regard to the clan name should the situation arise.

thanks vortal but its allready been sorted.
I have spoke to Cal and another guy for Codemasters there stance is first come first served, but we have decided to change it anyway.
Voting on the new name has started in ernest as I want o get to work on the new site this weekend.
No way am I letting that gimp Haltek having the number one slot for the clans :p
Man that guy has a bad attitude.
Some new logos from you guys would be nice as the format of the web dev file is a bit urmmm thinking of the word...crap :)

Were the hell are the wizard pics?
All they have is this great big clunking warrior in there, nice pic though :)
Oh and who ever designed the DE logo's needs a slap you cannot use transparency formula in paint pro 7 as the grey backround still leaves a huge circle of grey around the logo, me thinks who ever desgined it was going to make it bigger then changed his mind but did not re formulate the backing :(
anyway had some interest from CUK folks to sign up very pleased with that and thanks to fungus for the post :) very funny hehe

New site should be up by sunday night all being well and will be asking for your opinions again as i know you lot are way to honest to the point of omg why did I ask :p

Errm m8 sorry to sound a bit stupid but

a) Why are you asking people to join a guild on a game thats not even out yet ?

b) Do you not think that if anyone buys this game the chances are that they will make a Clan UK presence as opposed to a completley new guild

Not digging here just wondering more than anything ?
