Looking for some recommendations for a good DS RPG game.
Only tried Mario/Lungi lost in time so far (which I enjoyed until the kids lost it!!) but wondered if there were any other good ones around.

There's f*ck all at the moment. FFIII is utterly shocking and Zelda is still a few months away - TBD, but roughly at the end of this year. There is Children of Mana, but it's more than a little bit 'meh' - very simply action/RPG hybrid.

Honestly, your best bet for a decent RPG is to get FFVI that has just come out on GBA; it's the best around by a long shot. If you're going to consider GBA titles, there's also things like Golden Sun around.

Essentially, DS RPGing is in a woeful state and there's nothing that anyone would recommend available at present.

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is a good RPG, naughty naughty kids for losing it.

Children of Mana is basically a dungeon crawler, calling it an RPG is a little of a stretch, it's a great dungeon crawler and Talili and I are still playing it multiplayer (each person needs a cart though) and multiplayer it really is a blast.

FF3 I was thinking of getting but it sounds like I should avoid that, though in June I'll be import Pokemon Pearl from the US and that's enough Pokemon RPG to keep me going for a long while. And I've still yet to finish Zelda on the Wii so I've enough to keep me busy.

Personally I'd get Children of Mana if other people would also want to play it (single player I imagine it would get repetative), other than that cancels the kids pocket money and buy another copy of Mario/Luigi :D

I played about 10 hours of ff3 before giving up on it. As far as I remember it's a relatively faithful reproduction, but the game is really let down on the combat... there just aren't any options. In terms of graphics / storyline, the game is fine, but without a decent battle system, the whole thing just falls down.
