Eve mining tonight

I think we have 8 or 9 people in the Lonetrek region now and hopefully more on the way.

So is anyone up for a spot of group mining tonight?

We will need a couple of miners, and a couple of security/escort ships to keep the rats away. I have just skilled up in industrial, and in the proccess of buying a hauler to pick up the ore.

If your interesed please sign up stating preferred role

think i'm busy tonight i'm afraid, but will see. if i bring anything, its most likely to be something like a crow, harpy/hawk or cerberus. (yes, i have far too many pricey ships :p)

See who turns up. I can mine in the industrial (not ideal) ship but would prefer an escort to keep the npc pirates away. (will be staying in high sec)

As I have a large transport ship, if anyone is moving to Lonetrek and wants any gear hauling there give me a shout.

i would come but my characters arent ready yet, why cant it be like diablo 2 where i can lvl stuff in 5 minutes :p

lol probably but i dont really wanna leave the system i'm in till i can go in me new ship, i could take my destroyer or something, wonder if i can fit 8 mining lasers to it :p

Yes you can, you just won't be able to power them all up, or fire them all at once cos the capacitor won't handle it :) Though you can turn on/off things once in space is power is a problem (I used to switch from mining to railguns when rats turned up)

Sorry didn't get in game last night, was busy, signed up now, and as luck would have it, I'm already in the Lonetrek area!

we had a little mining op last night (was 5/6 of us), and it worked well, Got a little hairy when the escorts went akf!!!

I have all the ore and loot at the moment, but of course a corp hanger wil soon be required if group ops continue!

General feeling was to start a small corp, but i feel we will struggle with numbers long term (unless we recruit ingame, but we would have no incentives at the moment)

As usual, we are unorgansied, and lack a CEO. So does anyone fancy the job?

PS it would be useful if people could put their CUK name in thier bio perhaps?

so what does a CEO do? cause if they just stand around rolling in money i'll do it but if any works involved i'll avoid it :)

lol a bit of both, and for a small corp, not much work really i guess, but for a large corp... full time job!!

have a look at one of the corp guides for an idea of whats invloved.

And small corp sounds fine to me, perhaps with the old ideas of "guild nights" those more casual could still join in the fun when they are around.
