FAME at last

The Fast Show . . . .

w00t! I got a fame point at last!
(24 to go to rank 1, and 124 to go to my /rank emote)

Just got into a PUG at Hero's Ascent (IWAY Warrior - bleuch).
OMG but HA is carnage.

Beat the unworthies in under 30 secs to get +10 morale bonus.
General excitement as ppl reckon this is v good for a PUG.

First fight was against a group who stayed in their home base (oddly enough Burial Grounds Map) and placed traps all around. My god but they are deadly if you have someone targetted and follow them into the traps. Can you guess how I learnt that?!!

Anyway we ground them down and won. 1 fame.

Next group was a balanced build - bit of everything.
We were doing quite well to begin with (and I was doing my duty and keeping Nature's Renewal up) but at some point I can't quite determine it went pear shaped, and we lost. (I was hassling a mesmer at the time, but noticeably spent most of my time blinded.)

At least I was the last man standing, which was nice.

I'll get me coat!

Similar experiance to me (this was a while ago) and I went in with my trap/poison arrow ranger, like you we did well against the first group.

And in the 6 way scrum we even defeated the group near us.

In the end it was two euro groups and 1 us. We started chatting between the two euro groups and planned to attack the us from both sides (sneaky eh?) however the us group not only survived, but managed to beat off and defeat both euro pugs :)

And like you I was last man standing, but having already used my rez sig, was a bit of a no hoper, until one of the other euro guys put me out of my misery :)

The group that beat us were really highly ranked. Plenty of OMGs as we got to see the name. (Meant nothing to me.) IWAY has loads of weaknesses and is not a strong build, but doesn't require much co-ordination.

Slow/blind/traps/degen all work against IWAY. So I wasn't expecting much. Nice to get a point though.

And at least you don't wait for hours to get in a team.
