Finaly downloaded AA

Well I finaly downloaded AA yesterday and have been working throught he training stuff (thanks for the hints chaps).

Having completed all of 'em I just need to go back and re do the rifle test to open up the marksman stuff (I just couldn't leave a category not done - it'd bug me).

So, with a bit of luck and a tail wind i'll be helping to get you all killed in the not too distant future

Oh how I laughed after a couple of hours online this afternoon when I discovered that as the servers weren't "honor" servers I'd not gained any exp...

So I'm not the next one to fall for this, how do you check it's an honour server then ?

When you are selecting the server you have the list of servers that goes right across the top section of the screen.
Under this are two more sections, players info on the right and server info on the left.
Its the server info on the left that you want to look at.
There are variables listed under server info. mostly followed by 0 or 1. 1=Yes and 0=no.
So you want the official to read 1 and also punkbuster to read 1 aswell.

have to say, even tho ive only played a few training levels, im not that impressed, the engine seems a bit clunky compared to CoD or BF1942s, am i missing something?

Aye Bert it is free, and to get a real feel Mark you need to do the training then play on some of the maps (pipeline is my fav. that I've seen)

Only thing I'd change is make grenades quite so damaging, could be realistic but dying to a grenade sucks (although flashbangs and smoke grenades are fun )

Trying to download this atm, but every site (about 10 so far) on their web page either wants me to register before downloading or the page doesn't work ...

anyway I'll register or whatever it needs

just wanted to check which version to download, appears to be couple o versions
