This is a list of gathered materials used in all crafting skills (except Cooking) along with their "normal" market price range.

Notes: This is a list of the normal prices we are seeing for gathered materials used in crafting. Please post the normal trade price ranges you are seeing for these materials if they differ from the price ranges above. I will update this list as I get feedback.

This list is based on Alliance prices (Auction House and Trade Channel) at Ironforge on the Beta (PvE) Server as of Patch 0.12.0 (Beta 7). I have added all gathered materials used in crafting (except for Cooking), including various body parts. Those of you with crafting skills are requested to look at the materials used in your craft that have no prices and suggest the price you would be willing to pay to buy them, so I can put an initial price estimate in.

Dream Dust: 40s

Lesser nether essence = 1G25
greater nether = 4G

Greater mystic essence = 1g
lesser mystic essence = 40s

Large glowing shard = 3g
Large radiant shard 6G
Small radiant shard 4G

A few example prices on enchant Sales I have made (very incomplete list):

+3 1h: 5.5 G
+5 2h: 6 G
+2 all stats: 7G
+3 all stats: 17G

Looks about right for *buyout* prices on the things I regularly watch (stone, metal, gems & cloth). I've seen Thorium cheaper - when I've seen it at all. Likewise, it's usually tough getting hold of tier 1 metal & stone and I've often seen Solid Stone going for significantly less than Coarse Stone. This may have something to do with Blacksmithing - less stone relative to metal in higher level recipes perhaps?

If you're patient, you ought to be doing better than these prices, I'd think.

Prices have been tumbling again, looks like. I finished Engineering on Sat thanks to a big drop in Thorium prices.

It was inevitable that prices would fall on higher tier stuff as more and more people levelled up, I guess.

Haven't had a good look at manufactures recently. I'd expect to see more high end stuff now, which will be interesting.

Except GW is kind of more fun than WoW, so..your gnome in the city may be a bit sleepy for a while

I've been using LootLink and WowEcon addons recently... they add known vendor and (aggregated) auction prices to item descriptions... really handy! I think the auction price is server-specific.

It was inevitable that prices would fall on higher tier stuff as more and more people levelled up, I guess.

Price is falling specifically on Thorium because of the massive need for Arcane Crystals. Thorium will fall in price even more.

Kingsblood is now used for Thorium Brotherhood faction quest so price on that will rise sharply.

As Mith said, although it's server and faction specific. I know back on the US servers you could get 1 gold for 20 linen with no problem at one stage for some unknown reason.

Ah yes, the going rate is definitely server+faction - specific, however I don't think the addons collect data to that degree of detail (they presumably aggregate the horde + alliance prices per server). Shame really, because I have a feeling that faction affects prices more than server does (some items are just harder to get for one faction).

Haven't checked the common AH out yet - what are prices like on there? Does much stuff get listed there? I'm presuming it must be mostly high-level stuff...
