Ok, dunno if this is the right forum or not but I need help.

Finaly got round to buting a copy of DDO today but cannot get it to run.

Keep getting this error message

'request failed with HTTP status 403: forbidden"

I have never had this problem before with WOW etc.

Anybody help

hrm u running a firewall atm? may need to authrize it has 2 programs for ddo that need it if i mem correctly.

is the error coming when u try to log in or when u first start up the luncher?

I have a hardware firewall and didn't need to set up any port forwarding.

The error is coming when I start the launcher.

Been into the firewall program and checked that dndlancher.exe and dndclient.exe have permit all next to them.

Have even tried turning off the firewall then launching but got the same error message.

Whoops, spoke too soon.

Fixed that issue with help from Codemasters only to get a further error message.

It was apparently to do with IE setup and proxy servers???

hopefully they can sort this one too.

Do not bloody believe it.

Just thought I would try to uninstall then reinstall and it WORKS

Woohoo

Now need to find out what realm we use?
